“2026” in sparklers
The adventure continued as Rich Packing’s team wrapped up their relaxing stay at Yushan Hot Springs Resort. After the unforgettable celebrations and moments of relaxation, the group dove into more fun-filled activities that made the trip truly special. From exciting games to a thrilling strawberry picking experience, there was no shortage of laughter and bonding.
The Excitement Continues: A Bundle of Fun Activities!

After the delicious meals and the surprise birthday celebrations, the excitement continued as the team explored everything the resort had to offer. Upon check-in, each person received a bundle of vouchers—one for a massage, one for a bike ride, one for the temple fair, and fifteen game vouchers that instantly became the center of attention.
Lulu introduced the rules with her usual calm smile: the vouchers could be used to join games or exchanged for small gifts. If anyone wanted more, all they needed to do was participate in various activities around the resort.
“What’s the fastest way to earn more?” someone asked.
“You’ll see what I mean later.” Lulu said with a mischievous grin.
From 8 p.m., the game booths opened. Most stalls remained quiet, but in one corner a crowd had gathered, pressing around a single booth. Cheers erupted with every win, and groans every loss. Hailey, the company copywriter, edged closer, trying to make sense of the excitement. She watched colleagues wave vouchers, cheer each other on, and anxiously wait for something to happen. "What game could be causing all this chaos?" she thought, her curiosity growing as she noticed the dice tumbling across the table and the eager anticipation on everyone’s faces. Slowly, it dawned on her—this was the much-talked-about big-or-small game that Lulu had hinted at earlier.
She laughed to herself. It was clear why this game had become the resort’s star attraction: it wasn’t just about winning vouchers, but about the shared suspense, the laughter, and the way strangers at nearby stalls turned into an audience for one another. By the time the lights dimmed, that little stall had given everyone a story to tell back at the office.

Late-Night Relaxation: Soaking, Games, and Laughter
As the temple fair drew to a close, many decided to end the night with a warm soak in the hot springs. Dressed in soft yukatas and slippers, small groups strolled together toward the resort’s numerous pools, each one boasting a different temperature and different herbal blend.
Yushan hot spring
Lesley and her friends approached the challenge like seasoned tacticians. They adopted a “guerrilla strategy,” following a strict rule: no pool for more than five minutes. In just 30 minutes, they managed to hit seven different pools—a personal record they celebrated with playful cheers. “Soaking in hot springs is an art,” Lesley joked. “We start with the cooler pools as a beginner’s area. Then, once we’re ready, we move on to the hotter ones.”
After warm soaking, a small sauna offered a final round of relaxation. Some stayed to chat while sweating it out, others quietly rested until ready for a refreshing rinse.
Playing Mahjong
Despite temperatures dipping to 6°C, the team returned to their rooms, face still glowing from the hot springs. Wrapped in light yukatas, they gathered for Mahjong and board games, laughter and playful teasing filling the air. Sleep would have to wait because after a night like this, the fun and shared moments were far too engaging to end so soon.
Wobbly Rides Under Sunny Skies: A Special Bike Adventure
When the next morning brought soft sunlight that filtered through bamboo curtains, the early risers were already enjoying coffee and a generous breakfast spread. The calm morning air set the perfect tone for the day.
Henry and Eric, among those early risers, planned to started the day with a leisurely bike ride. The resort bikes, however, had their own personalities. Henry found the bike wobbled so hard that it looked ready to collapse.
“The driver’s seat is crooked!” he exclaimed, but both of them ultimately decided the sunshine and scenery were far more important than a perfectly aligned bicycle. With their years of driving experience, Henry and Eric managed to handle the tricky tandem and ended up having a surprisingly fun morning ride.
Hailey and Momo were riding
Hailey and Momo’s ride, on the other hand, took an adventurous turn. A small downhill slope turned into a near-collision with a stone pillar, only avoided thanks to Momo’s quick reflexes. Regardless of stunned staffs, the two survivors sped away quickly, laughing in relief.
The ride was supposed to be a steady morning spin, but thanks to the quirky bikes, it turned into a mini adventure that would have everyone back at the office laughing for weeks.
Sweet Harvest: Strawberry Picking and Farewell
The strawberries pals picked
By noon, the team began their journey home, the strawberry farm and entertainment center serving as the final backdrop for a few quiet moments of reflection. The laughter, playful challenges, and shared adventures over the past days had left a lasting impression.
As the bus rolled along, conversations softened, replaced by smiles and thoughtful glances out the window. From strategizing their way through the hot springs to braving the quirky tandem bikes, everyone had embraced the fun with creativity and teamwork. Just like in the office, it was a reminder that trying new things together, thinking on your feet, and supporting one another can turn even a simple activity into a memorable adventure.
With spirits lifted and a few new inside jokes to carry back to the office, the team returned ready to tackle the next challenge together.
See you next week!
